IT ALL STARTED WITH A GIRL, TWO RESCUE PUPS + A SWEATY SUMMER HUSTLE.
SONDR was born from the struggle and frustration of finding high quality, functional products that truly stand behind their ethical statements, rather than simply using them as a marketing ploy.During this struggle, SONDR founder, Michelle, learned not only about animal testing, but about the importance of sustainable, naturally derived and healthy ingredients.
As a wedding planner in BC’s hot Okanagan sun, and a lover of all sweaty sports, she needed a healthy deodorant that could outlast the heat without use of harsh chemicals, animal products or testing, and without causing an itchy, ugly rash.
It seemed impossible to find the deodorant trifecta: ethical, healthy and effective. Out of desperation comes innovation. Enter, SONDR.
Who knew that deodorant would be the thing that changed her life's mission.
Because our vanity is not paramount to thequality of life of another living being.
